Jim Olivari began his photographic career in 1962 by attending Germain School of Photography in New York City. Experience was gained during four years as a photographer in the navy, and then working in studios in New York and Denver Colorado. Having recently moved to the Coachella Valley in California after having a studio in Rockwell City, Iowa for a little over 30 years. Working now only on location from his apartment in Indio, CA.
